893 Beaufort is hoping to provide some virtual training activities to the Squadron over the next few weeks. We will be receptive to individuals and how we can be inclusive and allow everyone the opportunity to be engaged.
Cadets will be given a task on Tuesdays and have the week to work on it. We will then share their experience in a virtual meeting. Those who are not comfortable with the online format may send a written account or a very brief video on how they managed the task.
We will be doing a test run tomorrow evening (January 19, 2021, at 1830) to ensure everyone is able to join the zoom meeting (invite link can be found in the email sent out today. If you didn’t receive please email 893air@gmail.com).
For our first week, we will look at building a rocket. One option is attached below for you to get you started but if you do not have the equipment listed it would be great to hear how you modify the activity. Did it work? What could you have done differently? You will have the week to work on your project so be creative with it! This project will be discussed on January 26, 2021.
Dress will be casual.
