Good day level 5 cadets,
As we move into 2021 and continue to deal with the impacts of COVID, the cadet program continues to offer opportunities for development and progression. Level 5 cadets are being offered virtual workshops for completion of PO 513. Each level 5 cadet is required to complete 4 workshops to meet the requirements and this is a great time to complete this. This workshop is usually offered as a 2 day course but can now be completed in the comfort of your own home at a schedule that will not require travel and adjustments for work and school to accommodate. I would encourage all of you to take advantage of this opportunity to complete this over the next couple of months. This reflects on promotions, selection for staffing, selection for advanced training courses, and provides you with valuable skills and knowledge that will benefit you as you move forward in other endeavours such as post-secondary education.
I need to register individuals for the workshops of their choice and the deadline is right now to ensure you get your choices. YOUR RESPONSE IS REQUIRED EVEN IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO REGISTER FOR A WORKSHOP. I have attached the warning order and the workshops are listed in the annex. Please watch for an email (sent to cadet’s personal email) to look at how we at 893 Beaufort will be proceeding with virtual training over the next few weeks. I will require Senior cadets to assist in presenting material and providing some fun and engaging activities until we are able to meet in person.
