Effective Speaking Team!
We are getting together on Monday the 24 of January at 1830hrs for our regular Effective Speaking session.
Topics will be the upcoming speech contest tentatively scheduled for Feb. 28 at our regular 1830hrs meeting time. So far, we have 2 cadets from 893 and 2 from 205 showing an interest in the competition.
The competition is a wonderful way face a challenges, goal setting and personal development. It is hard work, but ultimately very rewarding.
There was no homework assigned last session, but for this session, be thinking about “an animal” story that you’d like to share. 2 – 3 minutes for the veterans, 1 – 2 minutes for the rookies.
Should be fun.
